Animal Crossing: New Horizons update patch 1.1.4 will be fixing a bug and adjusting the Bunny Day egg drop rates. The bug fix actually involves a bug, believe it or not. There was an issue where players would not receive the correct sculpture when giving three scarab beetles to Flick. Additionally, drop rates for the Bunny Day eggs have been adjusted. This will go into effect until April 11, 2020. Eggs will be easier to collect on Bunny Day.

Bunny Day is a holiday in Animal Crossing: New Horizons when players can participate (willingly or unwillingly) in an egg hunt of sorts. Eggs are scattered around your island and can be found in numerous places, like in the ground or even on trees. Collecting these eggs allows players to craft special Bunny Day DIY recipes to make themed furniture and clothing. This holiday started on April 1, 2020 and will end on April 12, 2020.

Soon, Zipper's aerial oppression of players' islands will take a significant blow. Nintendo of Japan Customer Support tweeted that winds of change will usher in the Animal Crossing: New Horizons 1.1.4 update, which is available for download now. The Japanese patch notes are sparse and quite vague, but a rough translation yields, "During the Easter event, the appearance rate of some eggs has been adjusted until April 11, 2020." Presumably to help players catch up at the event's end, high egg rates will return on April 12.  Details are quite fuzzy, but players are reporting an apparent reduction in Bunny Day balloon spawns. Unfortunately, disgruntled fishers will be annoyed to know that the disproportionate rate of water eggs seems unchanged for now, so their Animal Crossing nightmare may be far from over.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons 1.1.4 patch also brings a fix for a bug fix. Yes, you read that right, Nintendo fixed an issue that caused "Rex Kurushima to receive 'Platinum Kogane' and pass different items to different models".

This is just the latest of a series of updates Animal Crossing: New Horizons has released over the last several days. The 1.1.1 update fixed the infamous item duplication glitch, which allowed players to duplicate items for additional resources and was breaking the internal economy of the game. The 1.1.3 patch was instead the first tailored to fix the Bunny Day event, which had created a glitch involving balloons flying over the island. Finally, to enjoy all the features in the game, players can Buy Animal Crossing New Horizons Nook Miles Tickets from at a reasonable price.
